An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer and Lead Academic Contact (Collaborative Partnerships) in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The Faculty of Health Sciences encompasses the School of Health and Social Work School of Life Sciences and Hull York Medical School. The Faculty has close working relationships with a range of external education partners, offering a portfolio of collaborative provision which supports the University’s objective of being an anchor institution for the local economy and its communities.
The post holder will facilitate regular two-way communication with partner institutions in the application of the University of Hull’s Quality Code and Collaborative Provision Handbook and working alongside the Faculty’s team of Academic Contacts, support Programme Directors with curriculum development, (re)validation, modification, monitoring and review of their programmes. They will maintain oversight of all collaborative programmes, advising senior Faculty staff about new opportunities, potential environmental and market impacts, and the need to manage and mitigate risks.
Alongside the collaborative provision coordination role for the Faculty, the role-holder will be expected to act as Academic Contact for a cluster of programmes, with the remainder of the role focusing on a subject specialism within the Faculty of Health Sciences – either in the School of Health and Social Work or the School of Life Sciences (20% of workload allocation).
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Dr Jacquie White, Jacqueline.White@hull.ac.uk
