Senior Lecturer: Adult Nursing

Full-time: 35 hours per week
The School of Health and Life Sciences is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing to join the School, where teaching and research are at the heart of all of the School’s activities. The ability to contribute to module and programme development will be integral to this post, along with engagement in wider academic activities such as research, consultancy and CPD. Undertaking research, development and/ or scholarship to enhance teaching will be encouraged.
As the successful candidate, you will join a progressive team of individuals currently supporting our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the School. You will have previous experience of developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate modules/ programmes in pre-registration adult nursing and be practised in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment methods. With demonstrable experience of teaching and assessing students in practice, you will bring with you your contemporary knowledge of adult nursing. NMC registration in adult nursing is required.
The successful candidate will be based at Paisley Campus, and report into the Adult Nursing and Healthcare Division.
