The School of Nursing and Allied Health has a number of new academic posts as the school grows and expands its provision of Nursing and Allied Health programmes. We are seeking a committed adult nursing educator who is student focussed, approachable and willing to contribute to the development of Newman University Birmingham’s portfolio and vision of Nursing and Allied health programmes. Candidates will have a track record of delivering and designing pre-registration nursing programmes, hold a higher degree in an area directly related to their field of practice, and have up-to-date knowledge of nursing education, standards for education as well as a wider in-depth knowledge of healthcare policy and practice in a variety of settings. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have experience of practice based education and or clinical skills and simulation.

Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they have either a recognised teaching qualification or HEA fellowship or a willingness to work towards this. Applicants will need to hold current NMC registration and be committed to maintaining this.
