The post-holder will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support for research projects, principally TRANSFORM (TRANSFORMing Cancer Outcomes in Yorkshire) a Yorkshire Cancer Research funded programme of research aiming to reduce cancer inequalities in Yorkshire. The post is fixed term for a period of 24 months.

Tasks will include: transcription of interview data with the public and professionals, data entry from surveys and data collection forms, setting up of databases, organising project management meetings, project conferences, typing up minutes and providing administration support for the project researchers.

As part of a professional research team the role requires knowledge and experience of the standard office packages, as well as enthusiasm and flexibility to contribute to a demanding workload and the need to be able to react to the changing requirements of this varied role. Experience of working within an NHS and/or research environment would be advantageous.

This post requires an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service for Adult Workforce.
