The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is seeking to appoint a part time (0.8FTE) Research Fellow for 39 months to support Dr Carol Bugge, on a National Institute of Health Research Health Technology Assessment Grant. The successful candidate will be based at the University of Stirling but will also be required to carry out field work across the UK.
The study aims to reduce the severity of incontinence in women through the use of biofeedback technology association with pelvic floor muscle training. OPAL is a multicentre randomised controlled trial with a nested qualitative study and process evaluation. The post holder will be the key person involved in the qualitative study and process evaluation elements of the OPAL study.
