The Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) is a collaboration between the region’s universities, the NHS, local authorities, voluntary organisations, charities and businesses in the region to address major regional and national health and social care issues. There are eight themes within the ARC. The successful candidate will be focused on the theme of Integrating Physical, Mental Health and Social Care.
We are looking for an experienced researcher with an understanding of the needs of people with physical or mental problems. You will have experience of conducting high quality research in applied health along with demonstrable skills in empirical research involving primary data collection, using quantitative and qualitative techniques. It is essential that you have a PhD degree in a relevant subject.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
