The Department of Adult Nursing and Paramedic Science has an overall focus on adult nursing and paramedic science and related areas of research. Adult Nursing and Paramedic Science is highly successful in growth areas of provision with highly positive outcomes. Due to a continuing growth in business we are seeking to appoint an experienced academic or practitioner to join our Department. Under the direction of the Head of Department you will have overarching leadership and co-ordination of university / professional and statutory body (PSRB) quality responses and expectations.
You should have a relevant Masters Degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and current NMC registration as an adult nurse or HCPC registration as a paramedic. It is desirable that you have a doctoral qualification in a relevant field (or be willing to undertake PhD studies as appropriate). You should also have a successful track record of improving quality, experience of managing and leading teams as well as experience of teaching and assessing students.
