The Faculty of Health and Wellbeing is seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic candidate with specific expertise in Adult Nursing to lead our BSc Nursing programme. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the curriculum across all areas of the of the BSc Nursing (Adult) and Foundation degrees within the school of Health and Care Industries. This will include the recruitment and selection of students for the BSc programme which will require effective liaison with academic and administrative counterparts at the University of Hull. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
The suitable post holder must have at least three years or more post-registration professional experience of delivering, leading and managing services for adults needing health care interventions. In addition, the post holder must have current experience of facilitating the learning of students across a range of settings and be an NMC Registered Adult Nurse hold active registration with the NMC. Along with a minimum of a BSc, a teaching qualification is essential, and an NMC- recordable teaching qualification is desirable.
Mentorship experience would be advantageous, clinical skills tuition will be essential and fundamental to the role. The post will involve the supervision of undergraduate students, including practice placements
