Three Professorial posts are available. The posts provide an exciting opportunity for exceptional individuals to make a major contribution to the research profile of the Faculty of Health and Social Care at Edge Hill University at an exciting time in its development.
Successful candidates will be expected to lead and develop broad research themes relating to one of the following areas:
a) Clinical education
b) Health and wellbeing
c) Children, young people and families
Candidates should have a strong national/international research profile, a successful track record in income generation, experience of supervising doctoral students and the ability to support and lead research. We require individuals with the ability to integrate research and teaching, and with demonstrable experience of close collaborative working with other academics and professionals.
Successful candidates will be expected to mentor, support and develop research staff at different stages of their career.
Appointees will work closely with other research leaders and contribute to general research activities within the Faculty. They will make a major contribution towards the next REF. A significant contribution to innovation, enterprise and teaching within the faculty is also expected.
