As a lead provider of Physiotherapy education and research the University has put in place a strategic plan for further expansion to firmly establish the Physiotherapy Division as an international centre of excellence. We are seeking individuals with the vision and academic ambition to provide leadership in an academic capacity, as the Division of Physiotherapy enters this new ambitious phase.
With modern, purpose built teaching and research facilities set within a vibrant campus based University, Brunel University London provides excellent opportunities to work with internationally recognised academics in Physiotherapy and other health related disciplines including Sports and Human Performance Science, Bio-engineering, Health Economics, and Psychology.
Successful applicants must be eligible for registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and have a substantial National and International research profile with sustained research outcomes aligned to one or more of the College’s priority areas of research. They will have demonstrable research expertise within their chosen field and an established track record of academic leadership to include significant and sustained success in accessing research funding and productive collaborations with health, government, and professional bodies. All applicants must offer a coherent research plan with objectives to illustrate how they will contribute to the future development of the Division of Physiotherapy.
The Division of Physiotherapy has an outstanding track record for the provision of high quality pre and post registration Physiotherapy education and consistently receives sector leading ratings from students, external agencies and education commissioners. Applicants must have experience of the delivery of high quality teaching and of the development, leadership and examination of education.
