At the Centre for Health and Social Care Research (CHSCR) we believe that health and wellbeing is the result of many factors in a person’s life over and above the provision of healthcare. That’s why our researchers work together in interdisciplinary teams, thinking differently and finding innovative solutions to health challenges.
It’s this formula that led to our excellent performance in REF 2014, with 71 percent of our research classified at world-leading or internationally excellent – and now we’re looking for a Professor of Nursing to help take us even higher.
With both a relevant doctorate and a significant academic profile, you will bring a strong record of research and the ability to generate research income. You will also be able to demonstrate the vision, creativity and innovation needed to enhance research capacity and maximise the potential of others.
