We are seeking the appointment of a professor to specialise in the development of nursing and pedagogy. As part of the on-going development of the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work & Social Sciences we are seeking a suitably qualified person to take this chair in nursing education with a specific interest in pedagogic research and development and willing to influence and lead in the School in these.

The professor will be at the forefront of our growth and development, underpinning our current educational provision. The successful candidate will have a track record of excellent research related to nursing pedagogy and preferably have a national/international nursing profile.

Joining a team of established professors you would be expected to make a strong contribution to the research profile and be prepared to submit to the next REF cycle.
