With its vision to be the provider of choice of first class contemporary education, informed by research and innovation, the School of Nursing & Midwifery is establishing a unique innovative engagement across clinical partners through the embedding of research focussed academic units in local NHS Trusts to drive forward co-produced clinical research, promote inter-
professional working, embed evidence based learning in practice and offer a framework for clinical academic careers.

The School is now looking to appoint a talented academic to join the Nursing & Midwifery Team. This post is intended to contribute to the leadership of research in the subject area of nursing. An ability to identify and lead research into original areas of enquiry, and outputs suitable for submission to REF2021.

You will have a doctorate degree in a relevant field, and substantial experience at Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer/Reader) or equivalent level. You will have a track record of attracting significant research funding and being able to deliver internationally esteemed research output, evidenced through publication and other indicators and registration (or eligibility to gain registration) on the NMC register.

You will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
