Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of healthcare in Dorset. Dorset Healthcare has 14 local hospitals and provides integrated community, mental health, specialist learning disability, community brain injury, community dental services and prison healthcare services.
The context of this role is the changing nature of health care practice in the UK where the integration agenda is paramount. Integration is between physical and mental health, community and hospital, health and social care settings. The post holder will help to take a leading role in delivering on this agenda, supporting the Trust using the skills of an academic- reviewing evidence, facilitating change, evaluating impact and disseminating outcomes.
We’re looking for a motivated and dedicated professional who is comfortable operating across organisational boundaries and with all staff groups. A guardian of quality and safety, passionate about developing and delivering excellent integrated services now and for future generations.
You will be qualified to Doctorate level, have an extensive academic and leadership portfolio in order to meet professorial expectation but, possibly most importantly, a vision for integration and a drive to help to build the evidence base for success.
