We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to the role of Professor of Health Economics. You will have a sustained track record of delivering world leading research – creating and delivering programmes of research, securing significant external research funding, publishing high quality output, supervising postgraduate students to completion, growing research capacity, generating significant impact, and contributing to relevant policy development and national debate. Professors in the School are expected to provide academic leadership in relation to our educational offerings across undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development contexts. The post holder will also be expected to translate their research into enterprise contexts as appropriate.

We are seeking a candidate to lead our plans for innovation in this domain of research and practice in a way which complements our strategy. We are open to candidates with a diversity of experience in health economics, but would particularly welcome those with interests in innovation digital evaluation, methodological innovation in evaluation, and the domains of ageing, long term conditions or public health.
