Full time position working 37 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced self-motivated and inspirational professional, who is a qualified social worker and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), preferably holding a teaching qualification, to join and lead our highly committed team. You will evidence a strong professional practice history, academic and research portfolio. We are looking for someone with innovative and creative ambition coupled with a robust commitment to the future of social work for people in the communities we serve. With the ability to take forward and further enhance a comprehensive education and research agenda in the field social work and associated studies.
You will be directly responsible for a team of highly experienced academics to deliver and manage a broad range of teaching, learning and research activities across an undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio. Proven leadership skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders. These include commissioners, a diverse range of provider partners from the local authorities, the third and independent sector, the NHS and importantly with service users, carers and their families.
Posts are subject to travel within Hertfordshire, surrounding counties, in London and beyond will be required.
