As part of the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellbeing, our School of Nursing and Health Sciences is the largest within the University, encompassing more than 80 academic staff across a variety of subject areas including nursing, public and allied health, sport and exercise science and bioscience and environment. As an academic body we embrace innovation and are forward thinking in our approach to healthcare education through the provision of excellent academic practice and the development of strong working relationships with our external partners.
Our School has a pivotal role to play in our wider Faculty’s ambitious growth plans and we have had significant success to date with the development of our Nursing WBL, CPD, CWD and Apprenticeships provision. As a result, we now have further ambitious growth plans and have now created this brand new role to lead on the next phase of this exciting area of our development.
It is therefore a very exciting time to join us within a role where you will report directly to our Head of School and provide strategic academic leadership and operational management to our Post Graduate Nursing education, CPD, WBL and short courses, Apprenticeships and Simulation Based Health Education.
As a professional enabler, you will work closely with a dedicated and passionate team of staff, series of key stakeholders and Professional and Statutory Regulatory Bodies such as NMC and HCPC, in order to further this rewarding area of our provision.
If you’re therefore up for the challenge and want to know more, please contact Sue Brent, Head of School via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 3rd June 2019.
