The School of Allied Health and Community is seeking an outstanding colleague to join the Department of Paramedic Science. The successful candidate will be appointed as a Principal Lecturer on a permanent basis. The role will support priorities across the School including strategies in relation to recruitment and retention, learning and teaching, student experience and the thematic alignment of the School.

The role holder will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Department and will act as the line manager for staff within their Department. The Head of Department will be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and contribute to the strategic development of the School.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellent awareness of the Higher Education environment. The post holder will have an established record of excellence in learning and teaching, and research with demonstrable experience of innovation in curriculum design and development.
