The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy,Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, leading to professional registration, along with a large portfolio of CPD courses at UGand PG levels.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take up a full time position as a Principal Lecturer Paramedic Science to lead a team of Paramedic lecturers and senior lecturers. Applicants will need to be HCPC registered and have extensive experience in academic leadership and curriculum development.
Research activity is an integral part of the School’s business and there is a strong commitment to enabling staff to engage in a wide range of research and scholarship. You will be given opportunities to develop your research interests and are expected to contribute to the Faculty’s research profile.
The successful candidate will join an established senior leadership team, supporting the Head of School in the development of new courses and new curricula. You will have a strong record of working with partners and stakeholders and have excellent project planning skills. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution as well as education to doctorate (or equivalent professional qualifications/experience), including a teaching qualification is essential.
You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career and research portfolio.
Salary is dependent on experience.
