The School of Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint a part-time Practice Educator in Speech & Language Therapy. We are keen to recruit a person who can demonstrate the ability to support, assess and evaluate students on the Speech and Language Therapy programmes run by the University of Essex and through excellent communication skills will provide support, practice-based skills teaching and clarification to learning. They will demonstrate safe decision-making and excellent communication within the workplace.

The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic team supporting the development and delivery of the Speech and Language Therapy programmes and will be based at the Colchester Campus, although a significant amount of the Practice Educator’s time is expected to take place within the placement setting.
