Edge Hill University, Faculty of Health and Social Care, is seeking to appoint the following external examiner to modules within its Professional Postgraduate Education Portfolio, within a subject expertise of: adult acute, clinical practice (level 6)

Programme: BSc (Hons) Clinical & Professional Practice
Pathways within the programme:
BSc (Hons) Clinical & Professional Mental Health Practice
BSc (Hons) Clinical & Professional Midwifery Practice
BSc (Hons) Clinical & Professional Paramedic Practice
BSc (Hons) Clinical & Professional Perioperative Practice
BSc (Hons) Clinical & Professional Child & Younger Person Palliative & End of Life Care
BSc (Hons) Leadership & Management in Organisations
Initial module remit to include the following areas:
Acute Care, Clinical Examination and Diagnostics and Heart Failure and a number of small clinical specialist modules.
Any applicants should have an appropriate medical/nursing background together with experience within Professional Postgraduate Higher Education.
Successful applicants would be appointed with immediate effect for a term of four years, and would be joining an established and supportive external examiner team. External examiners are required to attend Module Assessment Boards and to complete an annual report. External examiners are also invited to engage with students in practice.
