The School of Health and Social Care is seeking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer to lead and drive the development of post graduate education inclusive of a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice. As the Academic Course Leader, for Advanced Clinical Practice you will be a part of a nursing team coproducing a growing portfolio of innovative programmes in collaboration with our practice partners.
You will need to be a registered healthcare professional with a strong clinical, research and academic background. You will work closely with the Academic Subject Leader and other members of the academic team to create a ‘Culture of Care’ within the working environment and beyond.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the Nursing Subject area forward with its plans to deliver high quality Continuing Professional Development and Post Graduate education for the Gloucestershire and the wider workforce.
Experience of previously undertaking course/module leader responsibilities, curriculum development, and experience of teaching within Higher Education is essential. An enthusiasm to embrace change, work as part of the innovative nursing team and become involved in the growing research profile of the school is essential.
