The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing is seeking to appoint a ‘Module External Examiner’ for the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Health visiting course at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, commencing in September 2015
Our NMC validated ‘Specialist Community Practice’ programmes recruit experienced nurses and midwives from across the West Midlands region and are very well established. The SCPHN award integrates alongside school nursing but is also strongly linked to the Specialist Community Nursing (SCN) award (District Nursing and Practice Nursing).
The External Examiner is invited to attend Subject Board meetings (March, June and September) to consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process. You will be required to write a report for each module board in consideration of process and student work. An annual report is also required as part of the University of Wolverhampton’s quality assurance mechanisms. The post is for an initial period of 4 years, starting in 2015-2019
