Starting Salary from £28,143 – £32600 per annum with further progression to £35,609.

The National Centre for Post Qualifying Social Work and Professional Practice is the largest centre of its kind in the UK. Working with over half of the local authorities in England and many health organisations. CLiMB is a new centre with the National Centre for Post Qualifying Social Work which specialises in providing leadership and management development within Health and Social Care. We work with many national, regional and local bodies and are looking for a new colleague to join our expanding team.

You will have a Doctorate in Leadership, Health or Social Work, ideally with some relevant professional experience within the Health/Social Care sector.

We are currently specifically interested in the Health/Social Care integration agenda, workforce planning and safeguarding vulnerable adults and applications from people with experience in these areas would be welcomed but this is not an essential requirement.

Applications for this post are welcomed from those with a strong record of research and potential for successful research bidding in the above mentioned areas. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of collaborative work with industry or other external organisations able to demonstrate how their research led to or had potential to have significant commercial or societal impact.
