The School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery have developed a strong portfolio of education provision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science and Midwifery with staff contributing to teaching across Nursing and Health care leadership and the Physician Associate programmes.

The School is seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapy General Teaching Assistant who can work alongside our award winning Physiotherapy teaching team as well as in the Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation Clinic to support students developing their physiotherapy and sport rehabilitation knowledge and skills for both the 3 year BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy Programme and our innovative 4 year MPhysiotherapy – Sport and Exercise Medicine programme. We provide excellent practical learning environments.

You will demonstrate enthusiasm for your speciality and a willingness to be innovative and creative while making use of development opportunities to improve yourself. You will work collaboratively with staff in the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery, particularly the Physiotherapy team. You will also work collaboratively with the service user group and with our students to improve and develop our programmes and to develop research opportunities.

This is a part time role (0.5 FTE)
