Edge Hill University Medical School is seeking to engage an External Examiner for the following:- MSc Surgical Care Practice with effect from 24/25 Academic Year:

• Vacancy ref: MED09
• Programme(s): MSc Surgical Care Practice (All pathways)
• Closing date: Friday 17th May 2024

External Examiners are typically placed on the Edge Hill University External Examiners Register for a period of four years. Principle duties normally include;

• Visit the University at the least once a year, if required, to moderate assessed coursework
• Attend module/award/progression assessment boards online
• Produce an Annual Report
• Review and approve assessment materials that contribute to a student’s final award
• Applicant requires experience in an academic role within post graduate healthcare education in a HEI
