This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic academic to make a significant contribution to mental health nursing and well being on Island. You will work with service users, and a range of professionals to contribute to and develop the inclusive education agenda for health and social care staff. The post holder will work in close collaboration with senior leaders and therefore will be able to influence the strategic direction of mental health nursing on the island.

Central to the post is contributing to the BN and MN pre-registration mental health nursing delivered through partnership with the University of Chester. The post holder will also participate in the delivery of continual professional development through the BSc (Hons) and MSc programmes validated through a collaborative arrangement with Manchester Metropolitan University and delivered on Island.

You must have a relevant Master’s degree, current mental health NMC registration and a teaching qualification recorded with the NMC. You will have recent teaching and programme management experience in Higher Education and excellent knowledge and understanding of the current drivers in mental health nursing.

You would be joining a small vibrant team in which innovation is encouraged along with support for scholarly activities such as publications and PhD studies.
