The successful candidate will join a team of enthusiastic, committed and friendly staff within the Applied Professional Studies academic unit of the Institute of Health and Society; however, the post holder will also work collaboratively with colleagues across the Institute and wider University.
The post-holder will deliver core teaching to facilitate the development and delivery of a suite of new Primary Care programmes of study. The post holder will have skills of Advanced Primary Care Practice with a strong vision towards an integrated multi professional approach to care. Further initiatives in supporting health care practitioners to develop as leaders to enhance service delivery will be part of the role alongside supervision for undergraduate and post graduate research and scholarly activity.
The academic unit offers a wide range of Continuing Professional Development / Learning beyond Registration opportunities, from Study Days to Honours and Masters Degrees, which include the BSC (Hons) Health Sciences, Professional Development for Health Sciences; MSc Advancing Practice, MSc Public Health, MA Social work and the new MSc Physician Associate programme.
