The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered physiotherapist to work as a Senior Lecturer within an established team of academics delivering physiotherapy programmes at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.
Successful candidates will possess an excellent understanding of cardio-respiratory physiotherapy, research and evidence-informed practice. At Senior Lecturer level, applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a physiotherapy related subject and have either HEI or professional experience of teaching and learning at UG and PG levels.
Applications are welcome from those who have previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based physiotherapy programmes.
The salary (£32,013 – £39,333 / £37,083 – £52,800 pro rata per annum) is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
At Lecturer level, applicants should hold or should be working towards a Master’s degree in a physiotherapy related subject and have either HEI or professional experience of teaching and learning at UG and PG levels.
The University offers academic and professional development opportunities and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification leading to HEA accreditation for those not holding a teaching qualification.
