These posts are to actively contribute to the development of the School’s internationally excellent research profile and to provide vital educational input into the School’s occupational therapy programme at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The successful candidate will be registered as an occupational therapist but will have a repertoire of skills that extend beyond the occupational therapy specialism and be able to contribute more widely to pre and post registration programmes within the School.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate the potential to advance research and education in the area of occupational science: the underpinning theory, examining human activity and the relationship to wellbeing, which supports development of new interventions and practices to address contemporary health and social challenges.
The post holder may be appointed to a research focused role (ATR) or a teaching focused role (ATS), dependent upon his/her experience. An ATR appointee will be required to deliver research outputs in line with the School’s Strategic. Plan alongside teaching and assessment across the suite of pre and post registration programmes.
