The Department of Health Sciences has an exciting portfolio of education and research, and we are seeking to employ an adult nurse to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Long Term Conditions to help us achieve our ambitious plans for the future.
We are looking for someone who has experience of nursing adults with long term conditions and who is committed to partnership working with service users, carers and other members of the health and social care team. You will have experience of working with students and will be able to inspire them to excel through positive role modelling and innovative teaching.
Current registration with the NMC and a master’s degree in a relevant subject are essential. You must be a member of the Health Education Academy (HEA) or have capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment. You must be prepared to register and study towards a doctorate if you do not already hold one. Applications from candidates with the independent and supplementary prescribing (V300) qualification will be particularly welcomed, as will applications from candidates whose clinical work has been in a community setting.
Informal enquiries are welcome and should be made to Sara Eastburn on 01484 472911
