Salary: £31,342 – £45,954 p.a.
The Department of Midwifery, Child and Community Nursing is in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education. With over 8,000 students, the Faculty is the largest provider of health and social care education in the East of England. It offers a range of qualifying and post-qualifying/pre-registration and post-registration courses in health and social work. We are an expanding Faculty, ensuring our students receive a high quality life-long education.
We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join colleagues in our established Children’s Nursing team. You will work with colleagues across a range of related disciplines to develop innovative approaches to the education of health professionals in both the pre and post registration markets.
With a minimum of a Higher Degree and a professional registered qualification in Children’s Nursing, you will have experience of teaching successfully in Higher Education. You will be expected to undertake research and scholarly activity in pedagogy and/or your specialist field. You will also contribute to our ambitious plans to develop our international portfolio and expected outcomes of an academic, including the commitment to register for a PhD/PrD within eighteen months of commencement.
