The School of Health and Life Sciences is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.
Opportunities have arisen across two of our campuses (Lanarkshire Campus, Paisley Campus) for a number of Lecturers in Mental Health Nursing to join the School, where teaching and research are at the heart of all of the School’s activities. The ability to contribute to module and programme development will be integral to this post, along with engagement in wider academic activities such as research, consultancy and CPD. Undertaking research, development and/ or scholarship to enhance teaching will be encouraged.
As the successful candidate will join a progressive team of individuals currently supporting delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate mental health nursing provision within the Division of Mental Health Nursing and Integrated Practice. You will have previous experience of delivering modules/programmes within the field of mental health nursing, and be practised in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment methods. NMC professional registration in mental health nursing is required.
Individual posts will be based at either Lanarkshire or Paisley Campus, and report into the Mental Health Nursing and Integrated Practice Division.
