This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and experienced individual to lead the academic and professional overview of Pharmacology and Medicines Optimisation education and practice across a range of professionally based programmes in the Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery.

The successful candidate will contribute to the re-approval process and delivery of the Independent and Supplementary Prescribing Course for Pharmacists and support the highly successful Independent and Supplementary Prescribing programme for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals; the pharmacology curriculum requirements in the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice; the Pre-registration Nursing and Midwifery degree programmes and the Foundation Degree Nursing Associate Programme. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting an inter-professional approach to teaching and learning to ensure students and graduates in the workforce are able to support Medicines Optimisation as a key health agenda.
