In this context, the School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking to appoint an outstanding academic or practitioner who will join a highly professional and motivated team to teach across our nursing programmes.

The post holder will be committed to promoting academic enquiry, helping develop critical thinking in students by supporting safe, effective and evidence-based practice. The focus of this post is on the delivery of our pre-registration portfolio. By providing expert knowledge, you will lead agreed modules, assess students and supervise projects. Participating in professional scholarship and re-validation will also be essential. The candidate should be able to draw upon his or her own subject knowledge to design teaching sessions that maximise the integration of theory to practice.

The post holder will be expected to teach a range of core subjects and should have a flexible approach to the subject material they teach.
