We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to work with the Academic Course Leader to develop and deliver the newly designed BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programme.

This post also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire in collaboration with our strategic partners South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. You will have substantial clinical experience, experience of supporting pre-registration students, curriculum development and experience of teaching and assessing within Higher Education is essential.

You must be a UK registered Paramedic with the HCPC and be able to demonstrate evidence of your professional development and experience in pre-hospital practice. You must hold a first degree in a relevant area, and ideally hold or currently be completing a higher degree.

As an academic you will be expected to have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or complete the University of Gloucestershire’s Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice in the first year of your appointment.
