The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy,Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels.Coventry University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2018) and has also just been named ‘University of the Year for Student Experience’ (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019). The School has achieved 97% overall for student satisfaction for adult nursing (NSS 2018).

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take up a full time position as a Senior Lecturer in Public Health (permanent). It would be advantageous for applicants to be registered with the NMC or HCPC. We are looking for individuals that will be able to contribute to our UG and PG courses.

Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is desirable but not essential and your application should detail your area of clinical/teaching experience and expertise.

The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
