The School of Human and Health Sciences has an exciting portfolio of education and research and an opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist to join an active and enthusiastic team. Teaching across Departments delivering physiotherapy and other healthcare programmes, we are seeking to employ a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology to help us achieve our ambitious plans for the future.

We are looking to appoint a physiotherapist who has a broad range of clinical experience. You will be committed to partnership working and an enthusiasm for clinical research is particularly welcome. You will have experience of working with students and will be able to inspire them to excel through positive role modelling and innovative teaching. This appointment will involve practical and theoretical teaching of anatomy and physiology on the current physiotherapy and other healthcare courses. You will be expected to support further developments within the School, including expansions into the international market.
Current registration with the HCPC as a physiotherapist and evidence of Master’s level study are essential. You must be a member of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or have capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment.

You must be prepared to register and study towards a doctorate if you do not already hold one.
