An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent Lecturer in Adult Nursing based at our Havering campus working in the School of Health and Social Care, which is one of seven schools at London South Bank University which is a dynamic institution, internationally renowned for the vocational nature of its courses. It has a diverse multi-cultural population of around 23,500 students, of which 10% are international students, and some 2000 academic, professional service and support staff.

You will be joining an academic team that embraces innovation, and aspires to be forward thinking in their approach to nursing education. Our student centred nursing courses provide experience in a range of clinical settings and we place a strong emphasis on partnership working with our local Trusts.

The successful applicant will contribute to teaching and learning within the Department of Adult Nursing and Midwifery Studies as part of a team responsible for Adult Nursing education at both undergraduate and post graduate level, with practice placement responsibilities within our placement providers across London and Essex. You should have current experience of working as a qualified and experienced adult nurse, and of working collaboratively with large multi-disciplinary teams. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.

Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
