The Nursing programmes at UEL have grown dynamically over the last 18 months both for Pre-registration Nursing, the new role of the Nursing Associate and the development of Apprenticeship pathways. This is a very exciting time to join an enthusiastic team of academics who are able to shape and influence the development of the growing UEL nursing provision.

To support this excellent development in our local community, we are now seeking to recruit to multiple posts to enhance our current nursing education team. This is a really exciting time to join to be involved in the organisation, teaching delivery and leadership of new pre-registration nursing programmes at the University of East London.

We work with a number of local leading trust partners who offer innovative placement experiences that span both physical and mental wealth. The nursing programmes at UEL thrive on the supportive partnership relationship with practice partners across the communities of East London and serves to support the health and social care needs of the local population.

The first cohorts of our new BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing started in January and September 2018 and have recently been joined by apprentice nursing associates. We invite enthusiastic candidates who are registered nurses and hold a relevant degree. Candidates without previous teaching experience but with sound clinical leadership experience may be considered at Lecturer level if the candidate is willing to work towards a postgraduate certificate in professional education (or equivalent).

Candidates must have a passion for student focused teaching; excellent knowledge of the professional and academic requirements of higher education programmes.
