We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic adult nurses who want a rewarding career as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing. You will be working with a large vibrant team to provide high quality academic input. You will be involved in the planning, teaching, assessing and evaluation of programmes of study at undergraduate and post graduate levels. Current programmes include Pre-registration Nursing at BSc and MSc levels, Nursing Associate Foundation Degree, Contemporary Nursing (BSc and MSc) in the CPPD portfolio and Advanced Clinical Practice which is multidisciplinary.

You will contribute to development, delivery and evaluation of high quality, evidence informed learning and teaching across our programmes and short courses in the School of Health and Social Work. You will use a range of learning technologies in blended face to face and online learning to enhance the learner experience and support successful learning outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to engage in simulation and clinical skills activities to help prepare our learners for their future careers.
You will promote and support a variety of routes to nursing and will be involved in recruitment and APL/APEL assessment where required. You will be able to develop your own scholarly and academic development as appropriate and will complete a teaching course if you are not already a registered teacher.

You will contribute to the on-going development of close working relationships that the School of Health and Social Work has established with local National Health Service trusts, private, independent and voluntary sector service provider agencies and with experts by experience, service-users and carers, through active participation in meetings and work groups as appropriate.

The current Lecturer Scale is UH7 £33,797-£40,322 and the Senior Lecturer scale UH8 is £40,322-£51,034 pro-rata.
