We are looking for a registered healthcare professional with expertise in addressing the parity of esteem between physical and mental health. You will support the development and delivery of our new Mental Health and dual field Nursing programmes. You will work across the University and practice learning settings and provide teaching and support to both students and staff. You will also develop the Lived Experience Facilitator project – where people with lived experience of mental/physical health are trained to support students during placement.
We are seeking applications from experienced and highly motivated candidates who have a strong track record in mental/physical healthcare and education. This innovative role is funded by Health Education England and has been developed in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust.
This is an exciting time for the University; our new £35m state-of-the art library has just opened and we are continuing to develop a number of external partnerships across the globe. We have a strong emphasis on supporting our students to reach their full potential in order to launch themselves onto successful graduate careers and we are embarking on a radical programme of enhancement in learning and teaching across all our academic areas.
The University of Roehampton, London, is an established higher education institution based in a parkland campus in south-west London. We have a proud and distinguished history dating back to the 1840s. Through the oldest of its four Colleges, Whitelands, we have provided higher education to women for longer than any other university in the country. Our values come from this rich history, built on community, engagement and partnership, with a belief that no matter their background, we can help our students realise their ambitions.
