Faculty/School: Faculty of Health and Human Sciences, School of Nursing and Midwifery.

Grade: NHS Band 5 Point 16 £21,478 to Band 6 Point 29 £34,530 pro rata

Contract: Secondment opportunity for 2 years.
Hours: 0.5 FTE 18.5 hours per hours per week.
Base: Plymouth

Accountable to: Head of School, School of Nursing and Midwifery

We are offering an exciting development opportunity for an Children’s Registered Nurse to work in partnership with the Faculty of Health & Human Sciences, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Plymouth University.

All posts will be based on the Plymouth Campus. We would welcome applications from Children’s Nurses, working in a public health role .This is an excellent development opportunity for those at band 5 and band 6

The successful candidates will contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate, post graduate programmes and CPD activity and will provide support to nursing students, contribute to teaching and research related activities as well as engaging with external stakeholders.

You should possess appropriate professional qualifications, and registration on Sub Part 1 of the NMC register is essential. Applicants must have relevant post registration experience as Child Nurse and hold a degree.

This is a two year secondment opportunity.
