We are seeking a Registered Nurse active on the Adult, Child or Mental Health NMC register to join the Health Sciences School in the Nursing Midwifery and Health Department at the University of Southampton. You will help us deliver our highly valued pre-registration, single and dual qualification nursing programmes, and contribute to our well-developed research portfolio.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for high quality nursing education and has a strong vision for how education and research can transform care. You will have an appreciation of issues facing contemporary higher education, clinical practice and health services nationally. You may be required to work with health care providers i.e., in supporting students in placement and/or securing new clinical placements.

If your application is for a balanced portfolio (research and education) your title will be Lecturer and you will have a track record of successful research grant applications and high-quality journal publications (as commensurate with the job description attached). If your application is for an education portfolio, your title will be Senior Teaching Fellow (as commensurate with the job description attached). You will have completed your PhD, be near completion, or be able to evidence equivalent clinical or HEI experience.
