This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Mental Health Social Work to contribute to the provision of high quality learning, teaching and research within the Faculty of Education, Health and Community. You will participate in the thriving portfolio of pre and post registration, undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes. A significant element of the role will be to teach on the pre-qualifying social work programmes and to maintain and establish collaborative relationships with service providers.

Committed to teamwork with excellent communication skills, you must have a good honours degree, a doctorate, and be a practicing social worker or lecturer registered with the HCPC. You will have significant experience within the field of mental health including experience of teaching pre-qualifying social work students. Personal development of staff is of key importance and you will be supported to undertake further professional development.
