We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You should have relevant and current knowledge and experience of anatomy/anatomical sciences.
To be successful you will further enrich our student’s experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and professional experience. In return, you will join a forward thinking and dynamic team that pushes the boundaries of curriculum development within the new Medical School. Our research profile is expanding, and our staff are required to engage in this activity and we have established research themes. The Medical School has a growing enterprise and CPD remit and you will also be required to contribute to the successful development and implementation of this. You will be required to take on additional roles across the Medical School as deemed appropriate by your Head of Department.
About the Job
This post will support the expansion and development of our Medical School at an exciting time in its evolution.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the design, delivery and assessment of Anatomy within our MBChB, MBChB with Foundation Year and Physician Associate programmes. There will be opportunities to contribute, where appropriate, to other postgraduate programmes within the Medical School as well as in the development and delivery of CPD.
The successful candidate will complement our existing staffing and expertise to deliver on this provision, enhancing the student experience by providing excellent and effective teaching that is embedded in current, evidence-based practice, supporting students to achieve their full potential and preparing them for safe and effective practice throughout their clinical career.
As related to the subject speciality outlined above, the successful candidate will be supported to develop a strong research profile.
