The Nursing & Health Care School at the University of Glasgow is ranked as one of the top Schools in the UK for nursing education and was ranked 1st in the Good University Guide for Nursing in 2021. At undergraduate level, we offer an Honours Degree in Nursing (4 years) and our highly valued graduates have excellent employment prospects. A strong science component, integrated with evidence informed nursing practice and a range of practice learning experiences, ensures our graduates are competent and safe practitioners of nursing, able to deliver high quality care. The School also offers a flexible programme of multi-professional postgraduate courses that may be taken individually or used towards a Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters degree. We also have a thriving community of postgraduate research students, from both the United Kingdom and overseas and offer a BSc with Honours in Nursing jointly with the Singapore Institute of Technology.
We have an opportunity for a Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will also undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the Nursing & Health Care School.
Applications are invited from candidates who are registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse and who also have a Masters degree in a related discipline and significant teaching experience within the discipline/subject area.
