Grade 8: £39,152 – £49,553 per annum (with possible progression to £55,751 per annum)
There is an opportunity within the School of Health Sciences for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced healthcare practitioner to join the Division of Nursing. You will be a registered healthcare practitioner with either the NMC or HCPC as well as be a Non-medical Prescriber with suitable equivalent qualifications. You will take on the role of Programme Leader for the Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) Programme. In addition, you will contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning, teaching and assessment in the post-registration/postgraduate programmes as well as participate in research and knowledge exchange. You will utilise a range of innovative learning/teaching methodologies, contribute to inter-professional learning, research and practice development. You will have experience in teaching, facilitating learning and assessment independent and supplementary prescribing practice, as well as relevant and current practice in healthcare delivery. You will possess excellent leadership skills and, with a positive outlook, should have developed interpersonal skills that will enable you to work collaboratively with colleagues, clinicians and placement providers. You will have experience in establishing networks locally, nationally and internationally.
