Grade 8: £33,199-£39,609 per annum, Lecturer, (ASE) or
Grade 9: £40,793-£48,676 per annum, Lecturer with Research responsibilities (ASER)

We would particularly welcome applications from individuals that are keen to develop research, drawing from, and building upon, existing research expertise within the school. Applicants should have a strong commitment to team working and to enhancing the contribution of research and education to Mental Health Nursing.

For the ASE Grade 8 role, duties will include engaging effectively in substantive teaching and learning support roles in the Department, and develop a broad understanding of how such activities support student learning.

For the ASER Grade 9 role candidates are expected to develop a research agenda which pursues individual and/or collaborative research objectives and proposals of high quality that will as a minimum meet the University’s expectations for future Research Framework (REF) exercises as well as to contribute to excellence in education by designing and delivering substantive and effective teaching and learning support, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (e.g. curriculum development and review, assessment and feedback, research supervision etc.) as agreed with the Dean of School.
