This is a fixed term maternity leave appointment for up to 12 months with effect from the date of commencement or until such time as the postholder returns, whichever is the sooner.

The College of Nursing, Midwifery & Healthcare is a major provider of midwifery education in London and Berkshire, collaborating with seven NHS Trusts. We have been outstandingly successful in delivering high quality, dynamic midwifery education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study.
The post holder will lead on, and/or participate in and/or contribute to, the delivery and continuing development of modules and/or programmes in both theory and practice, offered by the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare, specifically focussing on learning disabilities.
As a member of the academic team, the post holder will assist in the development of professional, academic, research and scholarly profile of learning disability nursing, and College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare.
Registration with the NMC as a learning disabilities nurse or RGN / RMN / RN Child health with significant experience of working with people with learning disabilities is essential.
Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
